In March of 2009, FJR13 members are planning on assaulting the gentle isle of Tasmania.  7– 9 days of riding around some of the most exciting premier roads and places that Tasmania and perhaps  even mainland Australia has to offer.

This is a major event for FJR13.org and all are invited to attend.  An itinerary has been created as a guide for your perusal by the man on the spot in Tasmania Fjreggie, aka Peter.  This itinerary is a guide only, and is aimed to help everyone get the most out of the trip.

The itinerary is available for download from the web site home page and also in the forum.  This is an Excel file and it contains macros linking to maps and other useful information.  This file will be updated regularly.

By sticking together as a group, it is hoped that we can get various discounts on things like accommodation and the trip across on the ferry.

As March is "high season" for the tourist industry,  it will be advisable to have all accommodation booked well in advanced. 

Depending on numbers attending, it may be difficult to get enough accommodation at the one venue.  Therefore the sooner we book the easier it will be.

Everyone will have different priorities & expectations of their tour in Tasmania.  Members coming to the TASSIE ASSAULT 2009 should not feel obliged to adhere to this  itinerary. Feel free to leave or join the group as you wish.  You may even want to come earlier or stay a while longer.
